Not today Satan

"So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your intergrity? Curse God and die!" He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?' In all this, Job did not sin in what he said." (Job 2:7-10)

"The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. And he also had seven sons and three daughters. The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers. After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. And so Job died, an old man and full of years." (Job 42:12-17)

The devil did not win back then and he sure is not winning TODAY!!! "Not a sermon, just another nugget."

This is an amazing story and I am absolutely touched. Actually, just yesterday, me and my friends conducted a Bible study in our school and we really talked about a lot of things. Our main text revolved around Romans 8:31 which says that "...if God is with us, then who can be against us?" I really learned a lot of lessons yesterday and I believe that the Holy Spirit convicted me and touched and moved my heart. I know, like Job, that there will always be challenges, but in the name of the Lord, nothing is impossible. I hope to read more teachings from Jesus Christ through your blog.
